About Dr. James H. Clarke, DDS, FAGD
Dr. James H. Clarke has been
practicing Dentistry in Houston for over 30 years. He graduated from Baylor
Dental School in 1974. His many hours of continuing education, degrees, hard
work, commitment and skill are what have made him one of the most highly
trained Implant, Cosmetic and Neuromuscular dentists in the world. Dr.
Clarke earned a Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry. After
graduating from Misch Implant Institute, he became an instructor and
lecturer for over seven years at that prestigious institution. He has earned
a Fellowship in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), a
Diplomate in the American Board of Implantology / Implant Dentistry; and a
Diplomate from the International Congress of Oral Implantology. His most
recent accomplishment has been the ongoing education he pursues at the
world's premier post-graduate facility, The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced
Dental Studies (LVI), staying current with the latest technology and
advances in dentistry. Through endless hours and many trips to the
Institute, he graduated from numerous courses leading to Full Mouth
Rehabilitation, which he has mastered. The lives of the patients he has been
capable of changing by gaining this knowledge and skill continues to be so
fulfilling to him. Dr. Clarke feels very honored to be included in this
small exclusive group of dentists. After 30 years, this new world of
dentistry is bringing more joy and enthusiasm to both him and his patients.

As a guest in the practice of Dr.
James H. Clarke and Implant & Cosmetic Dentistry of Houston, Dr. Clarke and
his team will always make sure you are as relaxed and comfortable as
possible both physically and emotionally. Dr, Clarke and his team take pride
in being a pain free office that looks more like a soothing place to relax
than a dental practice. His team members are friendly, nurturing, caring and
technically the best in the field. Dr. Clarke believes that the patient is
always in control, and encourages patients to let him know if you need a
break or time to stretch while having a treatment performed.
Dr. Clarke uses a laser in some procedures. His Panorex / Tomography X-Ray
machine is open and a great option for those patients who don't like to be
confined. Each treatment room has a computer with the screen chair side so
patients can visibly see with an x-ray image or picture any problem you may
have. Procedures are always well explained along with possible treatment
options. Headphones with soothing music, virtual reality DVD glasses to
watch movies or sitcoms, Air Abrasion which allow for fillings without
drilling or anesthesia, nitrous oxide, a heating massage chair, warm
blankets and a tranquil view of gardens surrounding each treatment room are
all provided for patients' comfort.
Patients are encouraged to ask as many questions of Dr. Clarke and his team
as it takes to feel comfortable and have a thorough understanding of their
credentials, experience and any treatment being discussed.
