Dr. Steinberg first attended the University of Arizona, graduating with distinction. He continued his education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. He then completed a four-year residency training program in prosthodontics, earning the Master's of Dental Science degree.

Dr. Steinberg lectures nationally and internationally and is the founder and director of the Tucson Advanced Cosmetic and Restorative Dental Study Club. This club brings dentists from all over the southwest together several times each year to share their skills and technologies. Discussions and lectures include a number of private practice concepts, new materials, techniques, and new dental technologies.
